Thanks for the comprehensive write up. Thoroughly enjoy reading this sort of analysis as while all the Information is out there - most investors will pass on it if it requires a decent amount of analyst /investigation. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks for the write up Tyler. These are both meaningful positions for me and it’s nice when an investor I really respect provides me with confirmation bias!
Right back at ya. If you own a stock I treat that as a very strong indicator to look at the company, these ones just unfortunately took me a while. We have considerable overlap at this point.
When you put it that way, you're absolutely right. I don't think I'm running there because of FOMO, but that definitely could be a contributing factor. The jurisdictions, yeah Nicaragua and Guyana are maybe not top notch, but a lot of the value (most of it in the case of Sailfish) is in the US. As for management, I don't think they're bad, and think they might be very good. That remains to be seen though, I've seen enough evidence to think the risk is worth the potential reward.
These are also small positions to account for the risks you mention.
enjoyed reading!!

Thanks for the very kind words Rowan. I do like to know people are enjoying what I'm writing.
Look at globex again. 252 properties, Ironwood, one property, is worth 10x+ the EV, currently being permitted, 2 years to mine.
Thanks George. It's definitely one of the next things I'm looking at.

running to smallcap in bad jurisdictions\mngmt because of fomo is likely to result in a bigger regret later.
(said via shipping and cannabis experience, despite entering with awareness of 90% loss)
